Bentonite is a natural clay product used primarily for clearing wines and stabilizing proteins in white wines. It is a volcanic origin material that acts as a powerful adsorbent when hydrated, making it effective for clarifying beer. Typically, it is added prior to fermentation and can be used to enhance the clarity of your brew.
M8x 2 teaspoons with 1/2 cup water at 60 degrees, stir well until dissolved. Let stand for at least 24 to 48 hours. Stir in to a ratio of 2 tablespoons per 4 liters of wine.
Leave to clear for 4 to 7 days.
